Trackplanet’s beta testing is going really well, so it’s time to start preparing it for launch. Today, I’ve got an invite system up and running. Every user will get three invite codes to pass along to friends so they can join the app. This will mean that (if anybody uses it) scaling up will be at a manageable pace.

You can get to your invite codes by tapping the gift icon on the top bar:

Which leads me to my next cool new toy. There are trackplanet iOS and Android apps on the way! I’m running a test version on my phone now, which you can see in the photo above. It lets you do some cool stuff:

  • Share straight from your streaming app into a post on trackplanet
  • Open trackplanet links sent to you straight into the app

I’ll bring a bit more information on that as everything gets closer to ready.
